By leveraging behavioral economics and design Gamification works. Only think about all the scenarios where points accumulate, where accomplishments are represented by badges, we are given a status by amounts, and leaderboards and scoreboards show how we compare with others.

A Useful Guide For Early Poptropica

Early Poptropica is the very first island to emerge in Poptropica. The fundamental objective of Early Poptropica is to win back three things that were pirated from the island’s pioneer settlers. Those pieces are a pig, a bucket, and a signal flag.

The Beginning

You ‘ll arrive on Main Street in Early Poptropica. You can walk inside the Pop Art Museum to browse a number of different paintings and talk with some famous artists. Meet other players inside the two multi-player rooms: the Soda Pop Shop and the Arcade.

Ready to start exploring? It’s fun to jump up the side of the water tower in the middle of Main Street. You can see the Signal Flag up at the very top of the tower, but you can’t get to it yet. Look down on the street and you ‘ll see a manhole that is open. Before you go down into that dark hole, you’re going to need something to help navigate down there. Getting back up isn’t so easy!

Early Poptropica and the First Settlers

Go right on Main Street to get to Early Poptropica. Each thing here is a lot older and the citizens of this area look like 8-bit arcade characters. Speak with each of the citizens here and you ‘ll soon learn that three important items have been stolen from them.

Now it’s time to go get the Glow Stick. You can find the Glow Stick up in the top left part of the area, which you can reach by jumping from platform to platform. Grab the Glow Stick and it will go into your backpack.

Back to Main Street

Now that you have the Glow Stick, it’s time to explore that manhole. Go ahead and enter the manhole and then make your way to the very bottom. You might get knocked over by a spider, but that’s okay. Even if you fall all the way to the bottom, you ‘ll still land on your feet. Then jump over the green spider and proceed right to get the prized porker. Touch the pig to include it in your backpack. You might be tempted to leave the manhole now, but there’s more to be found down there. Get past the green spider again and enter the tunnel on your left.

Because you have the glow stick, you ‘ll be able to navigate your way through the dark passages. Once you see a rope, go up. Keep climbing until you locate the Golden Egg. There are hints written on the walls to tell you if you’re going in the right direction. When you find the Golden Egg, touch it to add it to your items.

Once you get the Golden Egg, make your way to the top left and exit. You ‘ll arrive in the Poptropica Towers area.

Welcome to Poptropica Towers

So now you have the Pig, but you still need the Bucket and the Flag. Because you are at Poptropica Towers, you want to begin exploring the city street lined with tall buildings. Jump to the ledge of the first building on the right and head for the roof! Travel from building to building, bouncing off clotheslines to help you. You’ll arrive at a blue building. Climb to the very top of this until you get to the roof and see some tables and chairs. Then go up the vine.

Land of the Purple Giant

You ‘ll soon find yourself way up in the clouds above Poptropica. Head right until you see a very large pair of purple feet. Click on them to speak with the giant. He will accept your Golden Egg as payment to enter his vegetable garden. You’ll find the bucket among the enormous veggies.

Exploring the Clouds

Keep moving right until you find the Aircraft Graveyard. You can’t use any of the planes here, however, if you search mindfully, you will discover a Jet Pack. This is simply what you must get to high places– like the top of the Water Tower, where the Signal Flag awaits you.

Get back to Main Street as soon as possible. Then use the Jet Pack to fly to the top of the Water Tower. To fly, move your cursor until you see a green up-arrow. Click and hold to move up. Next move left or right. When you reach the top of the tower, click on the Flag to place it in your backpack.

Completing the Quest

Now you’ve got the Pig, the Bucket, and the Flag. Head back to Early Poptropica. (You can fly if you want to, but you’ll have to walk between Main Street and Early Poptropica.)

Talk to all the three pilgrims who were lacking items. When you do, the things are for sure taken out of your Inventory and returned to their original owners. Once you return the Signal Flag, a vessel will get to the boat dock. Speak with the person on the ship, and he will reward you with an Early Poptropica Medallion. Great job!
